In observing I saw many example of classroom management that was efficient. At all levels of education the teachers had the class rules posted on the wall for all the kids to see. They did this so the students knew what was expected. Another example that I …show more content…
If teachers are not organized then it is very difficult to manage a classroom in a way that benefits both the teacher and the student. If the teacher does not keep students on schedule with their work then the whole class will get behind and the class will not complete what is expected for the year. Lastly, if the teacher does not have any discipline over students then the students will not respect the teacher. In a class I observed at the middle school level, a student was being disruptive and not following directions that the teacher gave. The teacher pulled the students out in the hall and talked to him one on one. The student continued to be a disruption, so the teacher sent the student to the office. This teacher showed excellent classroom management because the teacher directed the student’s behavior and told him what was expected. When the teacher sent him to the office she sent a message to all students by basically saying if you don’t respect my classroom you will not be a part of
