My Observation In Middle School

Improved Essays
When doing my fieldwork, I observed a kindergarten and 2nd grade class at the Chapel school. I also observed a 7th grade math class at Western Middle school which was my old middle school in Greenwich Ct. It was nice to observe a classroom and get the feel of what it is like. My experience with my fieldwork was really good. The teachers that I had were great. The kids listened to their teachers and were respectful. I experienced the 2nd grade classroom practicing for chapel the next day because they were leading it and it was adorable how/what they did. I got to experience how teachers teach differently. When I experienced the 7th grade classroom, it was a little bit crazy. I had to different teachers that I observed. They were both math teachers

All of the teachers except one had posters, pictures, drawings... etc.…

Because of the upcoming science STTAR, my observation of Ms. de la Fuente’s fifth grade class this week was a little different than usual. However, I was welcomed by both the teacher and the class…

I attended Jane Addams Elementary School for my field experience hours. As I was attending this school, I started to think about when I was a student teacher at my elementary school. My experiences with both schools were different because each school had a different setup for how they wanted to teach the class. My freshman and sophomore year of high school, I had volunteered to do student teaching at my elementary school, and it was really tough for me because that was my first time ever teaching students at a fifth-grade level.…
