In the past when patients came to their dentist for dental crowns, they would often have to schedule a primary appointment to have a mold made of their teeth for the custom crown.…

If your gums are still fairly healthy, and you have plenty of gum tissue available, the dentist may remove some of the healthy gum and reposition it over the exposed tooth root. This can only be done if taking the donor gum tissue won't put you at further risk of gum recession. Another option is for the dentist to remove tissue from the roof of your mouth. The top layer may be peeled back and tissue taken from under it, or the dentist may remove deeper layers as well as some of the top layer. It depends on how much tissue is needed to repair your teeth.…

Although they are both respiratory therapist jobs, they each demonstrated something different. While CCOH showed how it is to work in a long-term facility and have consistent patient interaction. At RHCS driving around to the client’s place of business or residence to check on, or collect the equipment, made it personal able.…

In addition, I aim to connect and learn from other students in the program, as I expect we will all be unique individuals coming from extraordinary backgrounds. Based on the theories proposed by Kant, Mill, and Aristotle, if I were the dentist in this situation, I would choose to go with decision two and reschedule the patient to make sure the crown properly fits. In order to arrive at this conclusion, the predicament faced by the dentist was examined through deontological theory, utilitarianism, and virtue ethics as well as looking at the dental code of ethics proposed by the American Dental…

As I grew so did my curiosity for dentistry; however, it was not until I had a dental emergency that I considered dentistry as a career option.…
