I believed treating the mind is important because, in order for someone to heal mentally or physically, he or she must have the mindset of wanting to get better. No matter how much you want to treat someone 's pain, if he or she is not willing to change, it would be nearly impossible to help. Therefore, being the nurse that can alter the mind of someone to positively help him or herself, it would be wonders. Also, I want to be able to give patients comfort and reliability due to the consideration of their vulnerable stage. I want to be someone that is able to treat patient 's body with confidence and evidence-based practice.
