Pursing a college education is the dawn of my nursing career. Throughout my working experience, I have been involved in some pretty strong and touching conversations ranging from patients talking about their most serious medical complications to losing loved ones. My patients have told me I have a gift for listening and being empathetic. I feel pride in myself that patients are willing to open up to me and see my strength, especially after just moments of meeting me.
