When I began thinking about my name, I started by interviewing my parents. I knew that I was named after my grandfather and my mother, but I did not know the origins of their names. I researched my first, middle, and last names using the Internet, interviewing my mother, and utilizing the library. This shows that there were possibly many Brand’s immigrated into the United States at this time through Ellis Island. I then learned that I shared the surname Brand with Russell Brand (Celebrity Last Name-Brand(Celebrities)). Russell Brand is a British Comedian, who has starred in many movies and is becoming a popular celebrity in America as well as in Great
