In the Merriam-Webster dictionary, the word “name,” is defined as a word or phrase that refers to or that can refer to a specific person. Almost everything in the world has a name, including people, places, and everyday items. Most names have deeper meanings, but some do not, which made me curious about my own name. My parents named me Madison Elizabeth Hooper on August the twenty-eighth of the year 1998 and I have always wondered what made them choose the names that they did, so I started to do some research. I was never prepared for what my research would reveal to me about my name and my family history. After researching my name in depth, I came to the conclusion that a name is way more than just a title. A person’s name is a mark on everyone they meet; physically and emotionally.
The story of my research

Next, I searched my middle name, Elizabeth, on the computer and in a book that I had at home. I also asked my parents if there was a story behind choosing my middle name. They told me that they chose Elizabeth because it was a biblical name and my family are strong Christians(Hooper,Alicia).
