I am not surprised, however to see the current results. I’ve always wanted to do much of the same things as I am now doing or striving to do. In my younger days, I lacked enough motivation to make my dreams come true or to alter the dream that was placed upon me versus one that was from my heart. It is easy to assume that others may have your best interest at heart, especially if they are trusted and respected. This sometimes can be the furthest thing from the truth. Unless you are an open book with your deepest thoughts and truest feelings, who would be better to set a goal and motivate you to work toward it than yourself? For me this is a must. I set out to buy my dream house and though it took some doing, I was able to achieve that goal. I am also working to lose weight and become healthier. Though the struggle to not quit is sometimes stronger than my resolve to exercise and diet daily, I am motivated to go on. Another goal is to attain my college degree and use it to launch a different career for myself. I am determined but that determination requires daily renewal. I have even started my own business.
