My M.Eng. research title is “A Framework for Linking Smallholders to the Market: A Case Study”. This work is based on the concepts of Supply Chain Management. In this work, after studying the current situation and practices of smallholder farmers of vegetables in Bangladesh, I identified the problems smallholder farmers face in market linkage. Then designed a framework for effectively linking smallholder farmers of vegetables to the market. I have also validated the framework with a case study of Brinjal supply chain in Narsingdi—a small district in Bangladesh.
One of my papers on Optimization has recently been accepted for presentation in the proceedings of the International Conference on Mechanical Industrial & Energy Engineering. It is titled “Transportation Cost Optimization Using Linear Programming”. In this paper, using linear programming, I modeled a real world transportation problem of a manufacturing company to obtain the optimal transportation cost. I used Excel Solver to model and solve this problem. Another paper titled “A Neural Network Model for Estimating Global Solar Radiation on Horizontal Surface” has already been published in the proceedings of IEEE sponsored conference—International Conference on Electrical Information

When I was young, I didn’t understand why school seemed more challenging for me than it did for everyone else. I couldn’t discern why I was unable to distinguish my right from my left no matter how many times my teacher sighed and told me it was simple or why I could complete math problems perfectly then copy my answer wrong between the work area and the answer line.…
