I see my mother crying every time she held her in her arms because my mother knew any day would be her last. Every time she would hold onto her tighter than the last time. These horrible memories that I remembered of my mother and her meant nothing to me at the age of five, but now resemble pain and agonizing heartache. She has always been dedicating herself to my sister and me, making sure to provided us with everything we need. My mother works from seven in the morning till four in the afternoon, her job requires her to always be standing and sometimes she will take night shift if money is low. To endure around eight hours of perpetual standing is exhausting and to come home to stand some more until she has finished cooking dinner, which only then is she able to sit comfortably and relax. My mother is endeavoring to provide for my sister and me, which only shows me to sacrifice myself for my future children in order to give them the essentials they need. My caring mother has guided me to provide for my future children in a manner that may be onerous, but nothing compares with the feeling of furnishing your children. I now realize that having children is a really big step and I should be look forward to bumps along the road. She has shown me to fake a smile here and there to make it through the day. She has been a strong mother for my sister and me, which has shown me that I must also be strong with my future children. I need to be children’s rock and always provide for them. My mother has been a strong and loyal wife to my father, which is a key characteristic that I will carry through my future marriage. I will want a healthy relationship like the one my parents are keeping healthy for over seventeen years now.
