That feeling was particularly strong on Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina. I was five years old at the time and my dad was a Major in the United States Marine Corps. His battalion just returned from a deployment to Libya, and this attack meant he would be going on another except to a different place. However, that is not the only reason why this terror attack is the most memorable news event of my life. The hurt that it caused my family and neighbors was very clear to me and looking back on it now I can not stand it.
