My Mom Should Get Away

My moms name is Kimberly, she is 36 years old. She has a credit card and has had a lot of experiences with money and money issues. I interviewed her because she has a lot of experiences with money since she works on taxes and works in HR. My mom is very intelligent with her money and spendings, which made me want to interview her even more. My mom believes that teenagers should learn basic money skills before they are independent. She thinks that we should learn the basics, so we know how to set money aside for things such as emergencies, or anything that may occur like you missed a house payment, something broke in your house or on your car, or if you get in a car accident. She suggests that you should be very wise on what you spend your money on and what purchases you are making because you don't want to spend your money on worthless stuff and then pay interest on that product. Also keep tabs on everything you purchase and pay back everything you borrow right away. I agree with what my mom is saying because if you spend money on something worthless that you just wanted then you will be wasting more money then needed to. Also you would have to pay interest on the object even if you didn't care about it. Further more, you should be very wise because you can spend to much on something and have to pay that amount plus interest, which will put you in debt if you can't pay the bills. To sum everything up, I believe the interview went really well because on the answers my mom gave really good explanations on why everything she thought. Also she is really good with handling money and paying bills on time; she also has a credit card. With all her explanations on credit cards and advice I believe she knows a lot more about credit cards since she has had a lot of experiences throughout her life with credit
