My Mom Is My Role Model

Some say that they miss their childhood years, enjoyed them immensely, or never got to experience them enough. Although, I did have the privilege to live throughout the years of my childhood, I still had to give them up too soon. Granted, I was fifteen years old, and a little older than one would consider their childhood, I still take on many tasks to this day that some will not have to, until they are living completely on their own. Age fifteen starts the years of figuring out who you are as a person and what you want to achieve in life. Even though there are still many milestones for me to accomplish, I do know I have accomplished a lot after such a tragedy had happened which has shaped me to want to be my absolute best in any situation, just like my role model, my mother.
During a long hard month of my mother being in the hospital, and trying to recover from a brain aneurysm on her left cerebral artery, she passed away on August 3rd, 2012. During this period of her time in the hospital, her body caught many contagious viruses and infections that made her

She went from being a single mother who divorced her abusive first marriage, to finding my father and continuing her beautiful family. She worked two jobs at a time just to help my dad meet ends and cleaned from the time she woke up to the time she went to bed. She is my role model to do whatever I can in order to become the strong independent woman I can be. If something shall ever happen to me, whether a blessing or a tragedy I want to make sure I accomplish it all, just like her. I want to be remembered for everything that I am today, everything I will do tomorrow, and everything I will be in the future.
