Lesley Fischer, my mom has always inspired me to be the best of my abilities because she has accomplished the best of hers. When my mom was in high school, she loved it. She went out for many sports like cross country, track, synchronized swimming, gymnastics, and cheerleading. She had great friends, and was really involved as editor of her yearbook. During college my mom wanted to be a speech therapist studying speech, language, and science. She also double majored in child psychology. After working in the schools, she went back to college at her masters level to study special education, emotional disturbance, and learning disabilities. She did all of that to become a special education teacher. My mother doesn't teach just because she’s good
