Generally, a person with a rare MBTI type reports of feeling different, like an outsider, or misunderstood. (Myers, 2016) After attending a conference where the MBTI profiles were discussed, I had a better understanding of myself as well as the other personality types. I understand other personality types, and have built skills around learning how to inspire those have whose motivators differ from mine. This ability has helped me in leadership roles, by allowing me to train and grow staff members in the way that is most effective for them to learn. According to the MBTI assessment, I am an ISTP and according to the Strong Interest Inventory, my strongest themes are RCI; I agree with these analyses, all things considered. As mentioned in the modules, everyone has a bit of both types in them, but some stand out stronger than others. Regarding myself, especially, it actually depends on the situation and moment as to which type or interest will stand out more prominently. an inspirational message that has inspired me for many years. Being brought up on the basic principles of integrity and morality, I believe my suitability for completing an undergraduate degree in Adult Nursing, makes me the ideal candidate. I believe my aspiration for working within a care environment developed into a career ambition when I completed my first work experience placement at the age of 14. During this time I was placed on the maternity ward focusing on post and antenatal care units at Good Hope Hospital. As well as being impressed by the quality of service provided by nurses and midwives, It became clear that my interpersonal skills with people; enabling patients to feel comfortable, cared for, relaxed and respected,…

I didn’t know that I was Black until the fifth grade. I mean, I always knew that I was Black as in the Black slash African American box I poorly shaded in every year on the CST. But, I was never truly cognizant in the ways in which the melanin in my skin differentiated me from others. During a passing period between classes, I came to a realization of my race. Like hundreds of times before, I entered the dimly lit restroom connected to the cafeteria of my elementary school; but, instead of exiting the restroom, after washing my hands, I caught a glance of my reflection.…

What I learned about myself is that I have potential for being a global manager. Looking over the questions, I tend to lack in my experiences more than my actual skills. What I’ve learned is that I can adapt quick and connect with people easily, but I don’t have many experiences in it. To widen my range of experiences I would most likely have to travel more and emerge myself directly into new cultures. I would also have to study different languages a bit more for that is an area I very much lack in.…

In order for an organization to function at the highest level of productivity, managers must focus on empowering individuals in order to strengthen the group rather than enforcing autocratic leadership to force the individuals to serve the needs of the group. Describe your educational and career goals and explain what or who has inspired or helped shape these goals. During my high school years, I recall working in the fields during vacation breaks with my mother harvesting tomatoes, picking up cherries, and pruning grape vines. Although, when I questioned my mother why these fruits spoil, she responded it was due to "little bugs," which was not a sufficient response.…
