A celebration is designed to do something special or enjoyable for an important event, occasion, and holiday. My goal when I started my internship at West Millbrook it was my task to design the 1st annual Professional Learning Communities (PLC) celebration. The community members are mostly alumni of the school and have had generations attend Eastern. Because of this connection, the community is big supporters of school athletic events and other performances.…

The 75th anniversary of the ageds 450 farm is a celebration of the past 75 historic years of the farm. This celebration should bring back memories of both good and perhaps some bad memories of things that the farm experienced. Some of objectives and purpose of the 75th anniversary of the farm includes providing a place where past students of the ageds 450 class can look back and reflect on all the memories they experienced while they were at Iowa State University. Another objective of the anniversary is to try to find a solution to help promote the idea of having sponsors donate money for the new classroom and shop that we would like to be built in the near future. This is an important task and will require attention to detail when trying to have some of the donor’s ears perk up when we are discussing the plans of the new construction north of the current shop.…
