Statement for Extension I have been stationed in Okinawa for 1 year and 4 months. In that time I have been able to grow exponentially in my abilities as a Cyber Network Operator. Okinawa has influenced me to become a well-rounded Marine. I am requesting an extension for another year in Okinawa in hopes to continue my growth in my Marine Corp career. Throughout my time here, I have become knowledgeable on different components of my Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), which I still strive to master. With the knowledge I have gained, I have been able to execute and, with extensive troubleshooting, learn from any mistakes that came with it. I plan on furthering my MOS proficiency and believe extending my time here would greatly benefit that because of the vast amounts of exercises we perform here. That level of training is what I need to better perform my duties and be better prepared to pass on that knowledge when the time comes. …show more content…
Fuji Warrior, in mainland Japan, gave me the fortuity to grasp the concept of being a better rounded Marine and thus was able to inculcate that knowledge on to my Marines. I have been approached and asked if I would be returning to that training and if I would be interested in applying that training and knowledge at the Company level. My answer to those questions was yes, if I am allowed to extend, I would be more than willing to contribute in developing the future warriors that the Marine Corps demands and thrives for both in Fuji Warrior and back in
