I shied away from talking to people and even struggled to greet people when they came into the store. As the weeks rolled by, I began learning my way around how everything worked. I started to look up to the people that guided me. I learned certain, unique aspects of customer service from them and took every piece of advice they had to offer. They answered my questions and even urged me to ask more. As I progressed, I started to conform to a mold I had envisioned for myself. I worked, and believe me when I said I worked hard. During the summer I worked 40 hour weeks, and when school started back up I worked around 25. I did everything I could to better myself and become an asset to the company. My managers gave me the guidance I needed to become the best possible employee that I could be, they became my mentors. All of them saw great potential in me, and after a few months of trial and error, I saw potential in myself. I started realizing how much I had taken from each of them.
