The brain and its function has never been very interesting to me. Not because I don’t think it is important, rather anything in the brain and development seems exceedingly complex and difficult. Personally I could never be a psychologist or a neurologist however, I did find this week’s reading more interesting than I imagined because it showed the relationship between the brain, its development, and how we form and store memory. I match my learning level to the level needed to do well on exams papers and projects. I can understand how much work I need to put into learning something and what works best in order to learn it. I never study or do homework while listening to music, it is too much of a distraction for me so instead I work in silence or with a low constant background noise. I am very aware of what senses work best for leaning new material. I prefer visual leaning for most things but It also helps to hear how to do or say something. If it is a procedural I like to use my hands to learn how to do it. It is easier to learn a process, such as cooking if I do it myself with my hands than just by seeing it or hearing how to do it. Finally I can retrieve declarative and procedural knowledge well if I have learned it well in the
