My Europe Trip Research Paper

My memory is a mess. I can’t remember anything from my first ten years. I don’t remember my first day of school, or have played with my friends or my sisters. I forget things as quick as they happen, but there are a few things that change your life and that, hopefully, you will remember for the rest of your life. This is a recent memory, my fifteenth birthday gift, a trip to Europe. When I went to Europe I visited so many different places, but there’s specifically one that I can remember better than any other.
In my Europe trip, I went to Spain, France, Austria, Switzerland, Monaco, and Italy, my favorite place. I can remember Italy better than any other place. One of my favorite places was Florence. When we were in Florence we had some free time to know the city on our own. There was one specific thing I wanted to do, I wanted to get to the top of the Dome of Florence Cathedral (Il Duomo di Firenze). I was excited of having the time to do what I wanted in Florence because of a book I read, that part of the story develops there. The city was illuminated by the lights of the stores and houses. You could hear the rain falling and people speaking in different languages around you. Florence Cathedral is almost in front of a market. I stayed in the market for a while, waiting for the rain to stop a bit. In the market, I bought a leather notebook with a fleur-de-lis in the front, and a pair of gloves because it was very cold. When the rain stopped, I walked to the office to buy the ticket.
