Childhood memories are very important. This is where most of my memories come from. When I was child I got to do mostly what I wanted. This was important because it taught to me to be the independent person I am today. My childhood was very important to me because this is where I got to explore and see what I liked to do. I believe that childhood memories make one as an adult want to go back and do it all over. My childhood has made me who I am today. The things I liked to do when I was a child were going to the beach, playing softball, and doing gymnastics.
First, one of my favorite things to do when I was a child was going to the beach. I used to practically live at the beach during the summer and during the winter we would go about every weekend. My parent’s beach house was right on the beach, I used to think there was no house bigger than ours. In the mornings I would wake up early so I can the sunrise. The sunrise was so beautiful; the sun would just glimmer off the water. In the mornings my family and I would go on the beach every day. I remember the waves hitting my toes and salty hair. In the afternoon or at night we would take long walks on the beach and collect the sea shells. My sister and I would always ride our bikes; we used to try to see who could go all the way to the pier which was about three miles either way we went.
