The main difference is the things I talk about. For school writing, I don’t talk about very serious things that have happened to me in life out of the fear that the wrong people could read it and know everything about my life. I tend to be more open about my feelings in the writing I have done at home because I know that I’m the only one who will ever read it. The other main difference is that, ever since we have gotten technology in our school, all of the writing has always had to be done on the computer. That’s not a bad thing but I think in some cases it takes away from the intended meaning. At home I usually write in various notebooks I have laying around all over. I don’t think I’m ever more than 2 feet away from a notebook I can use to write in. Another thing that differs is that I sometimes type my poems on my typewriter that I got over the summer. I bet you haven’t heard those words written down a lot before! It just gives my poems a look that I adore because it looks more authentic; like the way poetry was supposed to
