I would love to sit and write about anything for hours on end. In high school, I was even paid for writing my own stories. Even One of my stories that I made online got almost 100,000 reads. I enjoyed that because I was writing about something that made sense to me and kept me intrigued. When I get assigned papers that have a boring topic or something that I’m just not interested in, I always end up saving for the last minute and receiving a poor grade on it. I have so many unanswered questions that I would love to research and write about. For example, Why do we teach students things that we know they will never need in the real world? Why don’t schools prepare students for the real world by having finance and home economics as a required class for every single student in America? We learn how to graph absolute value function before we get taught how to manage our bank accounts or take out a loan for college or even before we learn how to cook. How does any of that make sense? Also, another huge problem with the educational system in America is the fact that colleges and universities in America are becoming way too expensive. It should not cost this much to get an education. Becuase without college, you almost can not get a long lasting and fulfilling job in America. So my view is that college should be free. That way, every person should have the opportunity to do what they want in life rather than not being about to because of their financial status. With what’s been going on in the education world recently and with all of these questions that I continue to have, I have come to one conclusion. America needs to have an educational system
