Once again, I knew that I hadn 't put in the adequate amount of practice to achieve my goal of making snare drum. A second year of playing an instrument that wasn 't ideal put my mental and physical endurance to the test. I had to make snare drum my junior year. The summer before junior year, I practiced every day for a minimum of an hour a day. The day of tryouts junior year, I came prepared.
