Lifeline And My Social Identities Analysis

I found it interesting the similarities between My Lifeline and My Social Identities and Roles. Specifically the way I answered the question about my roles and which ones I found most important. I said my roles and social identities that are the most important to me are “sister, daughter, and student because my family is the most important to me and being a student is important to me becoming who I’m going to be in a career.” Another similarity between the two worksheets includes my social identities of religion and my hobbies. As I have already stated I love being Catholic and it plays a major role in how I live my life, in fact, one of the leaders I admire is Mother Teresa. She gave so much of herself to God and helping the poor. This is why one of my favorite hobbies is volunteering. The experience is always humbling and it brings me joy knowing others are being provided for.
Another one of my hobbies is playing sports, which have helped me learn a lot of life lessons on and off the field, court, and

One of the assessments I took was the Clifton Strengthsfinder survey. This assessment provided two statements that I had to decide which one describes me best. An example would be “I am a visual learner” and or “I learn best by hearing the information.” For me, the answer would be more towards the side of the visual learner but I also like to learn by hearing so I would not say I learn best visually. After finishing answering all of the questions, the top five common strengths I possess are empathy, learner, includer, achiever, and harmony. These strengths I agreed with because I often find myself wanting to include others which I think is often moved by my empathy towards people. I also think that wanting to make sure everyone feels included is all to keep a peaceful and positive harmony amongst the

The five greatest strengths shown to me by the Strengthsfinder Survey were Consistency, Belief, Responsibility, Developer, and Relator. I chose a life of Civil Service, in the Military and now as a Police Officer. Having Consistency and Responsibility I believe fit right into this life choice and in my opinion if you don't have Belief in what you're doing you shouldn’t be doing it in the first place. I utilize Consistency on a daily basis as a Police Officer. I wholeheartedly believe each individual has the right to be treated fairly and on equal ground to anyone else regardless of social, economic or criminal justice standings.…

Upon completing the StrengthsFinder survey, it is determined my 5 greatest strengths are the learner, achiever, competition, strategic, and relator, all of which I expected (Clifton, Anderson, & Schreiner, 2006). While reading the text I examined the various themes of different strengths, relating closely to the 5 assigned by the survey, I am impressed by how well the explanations were written in the book, Strengths Quest Second Edition. The text in correlation with the materials provided from the StrengthsFinder survey brought forth meaning and depth into finding out exactly the type of person I am. Learning is listed as my top strength in the survey (Clifton, Anderson, & Schreiner, 2006). I believe I have used that trait extensively throughout…

One strength I agree is, Jack-Of-All-Trades, this means with my strategic mind and analytical capabilities, I can analyze everything and eventually figure it out along with fix whatever life throws at me. Determination, if a project or assignment interest me, I will excel and probably go beyond on it, but this is only if I take an interest in it. General things that interest me is engineering things, science related projects (NOT biology), and problem solving whether it be law, math, science, or strategy. Another relatable strength would be independence; I do not like relying on others since I generally give little trust to most people. In a group the project the only way I can be 100% sure it is finished, is by doing the work myself.…
