I watched her climb the jungle gym, the long dress she insisted on wearing caught under her shoes. She’s smart, observant, and quick. She noticed right away and pulled it out before readjusting her footing and heaving herself up the metal bars. I knew I should have been nervous about her climbing, but she’s fearless. It’s a trait I admire and envy at the same time. She has no fear, no doubt, or questions. She just is, and that is enough.
