My Most Influential Chapter In My Life

When asked to describe yourself what do you say? Would you say your outgoing, bubbly, have an outgoing sense of adventure? Or maybe you would tell everyone how you have twelve cats and still live in your parent’s basement, maybe you would want to leave that part out. When we are asked to tell someone about ourselves we want them to see our best sides, our greatest achievements, our proudest moments right? So why don’t we tell them the truth, what about the pain, and suffering we have gone through, wouldn’t that be a better way for someone to get to know us? I am Savannah Benttine, I’m 20 years old and although the traits discussed earlier are great traits to have, I’m not going to tell you these things about myself. For you to get to know me, I have to tell you about the hardships I have faced, the love that I have and the passions that I hold.
I find my life is best represented by a book, there are many different chapters in a book, just like there are many different chapters in our lives. So far in my story the largest chapter is my education. Sixteen years of my life has been dedicated to education. Family is something that has always been a big part of my life. My family has taught me the different between what is right and wrong, they have always believed in everything I do. I have two older siblings Zach, who is twenty-three and currently deployed, and Allison, who is twenty-five, happily married with two children.
