The one life event that has happened to me that has been a major role in shaping who I am today is when I found out my mom was really sick. Out of all the experiences and life events this event has been the most life changing. It has been the reason why I made so many major changes to become a better person.

My mom would always tell me that she had high hopes and dreams for me.It is also so bittersweet thinking of all the good times we had together as a family. She would not be able to see me and my brother graduate high school, get married , and meet her grandchildren. She said that I had the brightest future and to keep doing what I 'm doing. She is the reason why I became a CNA. I wanted to make a difference in other people’s lives because we can not control what happens to us or what diseases we get. She is the reason why I am a strong, caring, and hardworking person I am today. I am who I am today because of my amazing mom that taught me so

The first mentions of the words ‘Taj Mahal’ caused images of pure white marble against clear blue skies to spring to my mind. After a quick Google search of the building, I anticipated expected my trip to act as an eye opener portraying the beauty of the Taj Mahal as representative of the true love of Shah Jahan towards his wife Mumtaz. When I arrived, I was sorely mistaken. I was surrounded by clouds accompanying a light drizzle of rain, hundreds of people packed together, and street children forcing Taj Mahal knickknacks in my face, trying to earn a few rupees.
