The book that I am reading is, My Life As A Cartoonist. This book is about a kid named Derek, who struggles with his cartoons. This book is by Janet Tashjian and illustrated by Jake Tashjian. I think that in reading I am good at analyzing the book. Also I am good at making connections. These things are what define me as a reader. I think that I struggle with thinking about the conflict. I struggle as well with using context clues to find meanings of words.
My goal for October is to read eight books. My goal for the rest of the marking period is to get all my points. I will reach these goals by, logging my time when I read, following my calendar when I am supposed to read, ect. I will find new ways to find this goal as I move on. My teachers
