Wedding Effect On Me

Brandon’s Wedding’s Effect On Me During the span of 5 days, I realized how I want to live my life. I started my trip September 10th to go to my cousin Brandon’s wedding. The wedding was in Wisconsin and it was a very chilly couple of days, especially the day before and day of the wedding. Only a select few members of the family weren’t attending. During this trip, I realized how important family and God is to our lives. On September 10th, I arrived in Wisconsin at about 11 a.m. My mom and I got a rental car and drove to the hotel and waited for my grandma to land. We had to go pick her up at the airport at 7, so we got there a little before since the car we rented was a little strange. As I was waiting for a different car, I turned around …show more content…
The day Brandon joined the love of his life, Tina, forever. The ceremony started shortly after everyone arrived. Tina’s mom and Brandon’s parents walked down the aisle, followed by the bridesmaids. The groomsmen walked around the crows while the bridesmaids made their way down. After they all got to the front, the flower girl walked down, and then the bride and her father. When Tina started to walk, everyone rose. People cried, mostly Brandon and Tina, and Tina and her father hugged before he sat down. The pastor started to speak, not only about their love for each other, but about their love for Christ. This was one of the most inspiring moments for me.Without His help and guidance, we wouldn’t have had that moment together. Once the ceremony ended, pictures were taken as dinner was set up. We had snacks and took family pictures, and then we were told to go into the barn to eat. The barn was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. It was decorated with old china plates and pink table runners and flowers next to the table numbers. We were all sent by tables to go get our food. The food was great, which was no surprise since it was Famous Dave’s. By this time I had met family of my own that I didn’t know of and more of Brandon and Tina’s family. Everyone cared so much for every single person and made sure to make a conversation or get to know them all. Everyone danced and sang and had the best time of their life, especially the bride and groom. It was definitely not the most traditional first dance, but it just made the night that much

Part of the time I am stuck between calmly understanding the reality of what I am doing or understanding the reality of what I am doing and panicking. When I was 16, I went on a mission trip to India. It was my first trip outside of the United States. I was part of a student team that led evangelistic meetings every night in the rural villages for three weeks. However, if my mother did deal with racial segregation for work, we would definitely be on the streets. Through the years, I ran into several unusual events that I would never have expected to happen.…
