No Place for Hate Feature Story KCC wasn’t a place for hate on February 2, 2016 when Arno Michaelis and Daryl Davis took the stage to talk about the racism and prejudice crippling America. Arno Michaelis was a founding member of the Northern Hammerskins, a white supremacist group, and was also the lead singer of Centurion, a hate-metal band. In 2010, he wrote My Life after Hate, which recounted how Michaelis turned his life around and let go of the hate that once plagued him. Daryl Davis is not only known for his musical abilities, he is also known as a black man who attended and was welcomed into multiple KKK rallies.
