This summer as been a blessing and I want to share part of my journey.
I want to start off my thanking my bible study leader, Yoly and Lisa along with everyone else at Appleton Alliance Church.

Going back to when I was in middle school and high school I would go to AAC but sadly never considered what I was learning to be meaningful, in one ear and out the other. I was to focused on what time is it, how many more songs are we singing, how much longer until we get home, and so on. I never understood the point of singing or any of this worshiping “stuff”. Until now.

This past summer I went to santuacry church. I began to become more interested of this whole relgouis thing. I had so many questions and my mind wanted answers. I had a person who I would go to and seek answers from.

They always talk about these huge experiences but yet something as simple as an email can be the moment you turn your life over to God.
I stared bible study, and I learned so much from those women, I am blessed that God brought those women into my life, I will forever remember them as they played a huge role in my life and through this journey, specially Lisa and Yoly, my mentors. They always would help me find clarity and always were routing for me.
I felt honored and blessed to be able to be re-baptized and thank God for those women and the rest of Appleton Alliance Church.
Being my last Sunday at appleton alliance church I can’t wait for the the next chapter to begin at Sanctuary church. I cant wait to meet more people who can share their wisdom and the word of God with me.
I cant wait to stand up and sing loud and proud to God, I find that singing is this special language that only God can understand, I feel closer to him, well I feel closer to him even more after I pray. Im happy to say I now understand praying too. Its a beautiful experience. An experience I get to have

There are many stories told in my family. Anyone and everyone told them, some nights it would be my mom and other nights it would be my grandpa. There would always be two stories read; the first one would be from a book called “My Book of Bible Stories”. This book has so many pictures asks questions has descriptive words and is still one of my favorite books. After that story whoever was telling the story would make up a silly story usually about a blue or green man with a giraffe that went traveling and exploring (I have no clue why).…

The Impact that has been made City of Praise; my church, my home, and my hospital. City of praise has impacted my life tremendously, and I can honestly say that I've enjoyed every bit of it. Then in high school, I feel for this Baptist guy, who was just unsure about religion in general. I decided that I should bring him to church, the church where I found my faith. After bringing him to a youth group event, the kids in my youth group made fun of him and told him how I deserved a better boyfriend. Enraged, I stopped going to almost all church events. I would only go to events where there would be more than just the youth from my old church.…
