One very important things I learned it to always stay connected with the parents. Every time a student forgot their folder or misbehaved she will email them right after school. She also taught me how to be organized and literally label everything. She was also very descriptive with her centers and will always explain each center. On the first lesson I showed her she taught me to be very specific on the materials and be very specific on my procedure. She also taught me a few different way on how to start a lesson. She also showed me a couple websites where I can find find very neat lesson plans. Also a website called “teachers pay teachers” where another teacher can pay you to use your lesson which I find very cool. I also learned the way she taught a student a letter. She would use a “chopper” made with their hands or by asking the student to place their fingers under their chin to make the sound. Another thing I learned is that not always are the students projects supposed to look the same or be perfect. For my first lesson I trace what the students had to cut off but for my second one I set them free and just gave them instructions on how to do it. That way every project was done by the student and they all looked different but yet achieved on what I had asked them to do. All these were great things and advices I learned from my cooperative
