Every decision I make, I include my loved ones. As the Learning Styles Inventory mentioned, family always comes first for ISFJs. All the hard work I do is not just for me, but for them. As long as what matters to me and to the people I love are maintained, then that 's all I need to worry about. In my stage of life of becoming an adult, choosing a college was a challenge for me. At the end, my learning style was the deciding factor. I have a lot of goals and dreams I want to pursue not only for myself but for my family. Early in my senior year of high school, I started looking and applying to local colleges. As I was filling out applications, I would contemplate whether I should apply to colleges far away from home, mainly Villanova University, which I had visited the previous summer. Week after week, I thought about my reasons for wanting to go to Villanova to help me decide, but the only reason I could think of was that it was prestigious, nothing else. As an ISFJ, I make decisions by considering what 's best for the people around me. I could not choose going to Villanova even if this choice may have had many logical pros and benefits for my career since it was a prestigious university. I knew I wouldn 't want to be far away from my family, so I narrowed my choices down to local colleges, and out of all the local colleges I got accepted into, Carlow University and its moral values stood out to me. The small campus and closeness it possesses was a great fit for me. Carlow was the one that had made me realize I wanted to be a nurse in the first place. It also allowed me to stay close to my family as a commuter, have that college experience, and realize who I wanted to be.
