Mr. Mark Russell came to the Pass Christian School District to a high school band of roughly twelve people, and within only a few short years he was able to help the band grow to sixty plus people. The first few years he was at the school district, he managed both the middle school band program and the high school band program. He was able to get both band programs to ones you can be proud of their accomplishments. He was committed to the musical success of each and every student of his, and his determination led to a great foundation for both school’s band programs and their success. His commitment and dedication is what inspired me as a student to try my hardest at everything I do. Leading on with the same idea, another
