If someone asked me to repeat my Junior year I would say that they are crazy. Junior year was nothing like I expected it to be. I can easily say that my junior year was one of the hardest years I ever experienced. From the moment I woke up to the time I would go to bed this year was particularly different from the others. An honors student who thought that she was so smart was torn down and forced to reflect. I decided to take three college classes in my junior year, but did not know that it would be so stressful. I decided that I would sacrifice my sleep to participated for the Interactive Media class at Mentor High School. I would wake up at 5:30 a.m. everyday to catch the school bus to Mentor no matter what the weather was like. I first day of my junior …show more content…
However, the driver had to turn around twice, because he didn’t know where he was going. When we finally got there my clothes were wet from the morning rain. Once I walked into my first period class, everyone was staring at us. By this time there were only 10 minutes left of class. I would say that the Interactive Media class was one of the better parts of the day. This summed up my hectic first day as a junior. My junior year was nothing but work, stress, and more work. Every class wanted a paper and a book to be read. Once I got home at 2:20 p.m. I would do homework until 12:00 at night. I was mentally and physically exhausted. Ever since I was little I had a lot of energy and was willing to go anywhere and everywhere. However, as my junior year progressed I started to become more tired and inactive. Now that I look back on it, I also didn’t have time to do the things I loved and gradually lost interest in those things. The 10 page papers that I had to do for my Political Science class was one of the things that stressed me out the most. If you got a bad grade on a paper that was basically your grade and would be hard to get back

As my application is examined, it will come to the attention that no activities or descriptions are included from my sophomore year of high school. That would be because I actually did not have a sophomore year. Advancing forward a full year in high school would have to be one of the most challenging, longest lasting, incredibly difficult circumstances that I have ever found myself in. Not only was this decision strenuous when it came to academic struggles, but I found myself facing family skirmishes, social problems, and issues with the Board at my school. Even though so many obstacles could have been avoided by choosing to take the easiest route available to me, I would not trade my experiences for anything because ultimately, they formed me into the person who I need to be in order to pursue my dreams and taught me more than I could have ever imagined learning.…

In the Spring of last year, it was my Junior year, one of the most critical years in high school. It’s the year that colleges look at the most, also it was the year that I was in some of the most challenging classes. Mostly honors, a lot of homework, and tests to go along with it. Studying would take me until late at night, and even on weekends, all day long. When it’s the end of the term everyone checks their grades for their report cards, and progress reports.…

This news wasn’t anything new, since he has been dealing with cancer since 2010; what was new was that it had metastasized into his bloodstream and threatened his life. I'm going to be honest here-- my "formative" years are what many people would call uncouth. As a child growing up constantly toeing the poverty line almost daily it's not really surprising that people would say this. I grew up in two motels near the heart of Disneyland, California. My hobbies included laughing at tourists, reading books about other more interesting places, taking pictures on my moms cell phone, watching T.V. with my sisters and brother, and moving my belongings every 21 days. We had lived in this place and had known most of these people since I was nine years old and just finishing my fourth grade year.…
