You can walk down the street or go to the mall and know almost every single person. I know this from my own experiences. Everything is close by in Israel the buildings are built right next to each other. Family, friends, and even classmates, live five to ten minute walks away from each other. Everyone is a family there and nothing can break that bond. People acted as a family, even if some were nice or some were rude, everyone was close and knew each other. You don’t notice these things unless you see them for yourself in an environment that you are not from or used to. One thing I did notice, the drivers in Israel have more road rage compared to those in Los Angeles. This makes driving more nerve raking and chaotic. Being in a place where anything can happen at any second, is scary, but that’s the whole beauty of it. Israel is protected by its people, there are soldiers walking around at all times. You can see how much people love their country and will fight to protect it no matter what. Going to the mall one has to go through security to make sure everyone is safe and sound. Unfortunately this is the reality of living in Israel where threats from terrorist acts has become a part of everyday
