My Journey To A Community College

After high school I plan on taking a year off and getting a job to focus on raising enough money for myself to aid in college. After my year off, I would like to attend a community college for two years and then transfer over to a university for the rest of my necessary education. For community college, I would like to enroll in Copper Mountain College. I would like to attend Copper Mountain College rather than College of the Desert because it is cheaper, and many students in the valley will more than likely be rushing to go to College of the Desert. If everyone is fighting to go to College of the Desert then the classes available would be more limited. As for university, I would like to go out of state and attend University of Washington, Seattle. …show more content…
University of Washington is the second best school to attend for library and information studies programs. I have wanted to become a librarian since my sophomore year of high school and I plan to do whatever necessary to accomplish my goal. As for family situations that influence financial needs, one of my sisters, Maria, is an unemployed single mother of two. My mother is also unemployed and depends on my step father
