My Involvement In JROTC And Extra Curricular Activities

With my involvement in JROTC and extracurricular activities throughout high school, I have grown as both a better student and citizen. The program helped me build more confidence in myself and have the ability of lead. As I gained more responsibilities in the program, I was able to be seen as a mentor and leader, putting in my efforts to better motivate and encourage cadets to be leaders as well. JROTC has opened my eyes to many opportunities; I am grateful and appreciative for the numerous, learning experiences that the program has provided me.
Regarding my life goals, after high school, I plan to attend Mary Baldwin College and join the VWIL (Virginia Women’s Institute for Leadership) Corp of Cadets ROTC program. Upon graduation from college,
