On Wednesday I got to meet with Morris Reed at the Manor. At first I was super nervous because I am not very good with talking with adults and usually stick to hanging and helping with the kids, but after talking with him I gained more confidence in getting to know adults. He taught me how easy it was so just carry a simple conversation and learn more about people. It was really cool to hear his stories about being a teacher, but the thing that really stood out to me about him the most is his relationship with God. He shared with Abbey and I about how each day he sets a time aside to spend at least forty minutes in prayer for his whole family and also for our college.
