My Interview At The University Of Connecticut Essay

For my faculty interview I decided to interview Mike Russell, the instructor for my Exploring Concepts to Leadership. Russell works at Washburn and has many different titles such as; Ph.D., Associate Director Department of Psychology, Scholarly Creative WTE Area Director, WTE Director of Marketing & Assessment. He graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, a Masters in Child Developmental Psychology and a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology. Just from looking at all of this you probably get the idea that Mike is worth getting to know. How did he do it? How did he get here? Since taking his class, I have always been intrigued because of the way he teaches. That, along with his extensive titles, is a reason why I think that I made an excellent choice in selecting him to be interviewed for this project. I also, think that it is important to learn more about my instructors that are not in the music department. After I had chosen Mike to interview I needed to think up a list of questions to ask him. I then decided that I would ask questions based on a few different subjects such as; Background, Teaching and Personality.
