1B. Most effective communication skill was listening. I also asked questions when I did not understand something that was being stated by the sales rep. I also took notes as the gentleman was talking.

Yesterday, after dinner.

Why? I had to do a mini interview of him for my nursing 103 class assignment.

2B. The most effective communication skill listening. I was taking notes as he spoke. I repeated his responses in a summary to make sure I heard what he said. I sat near him so he knew I was interested in what he had to say.
2C. I don’t think there was a least effective communication skill used during this conversation. The interview had three questions and it went smoothly. It lead us to reminisce about the first time we went on a date, first trip, and other memories.
2D. Recurring communication behavior is listening. Another behavior that recurred is showing interest in what he had to say. When we are talking and there’s no distraction, the kids talking, we can talk for hours without getting bored.
2E. My goal was not met to initiate a conversation with a stranger. I can incorporate the communication behavior I had in the conversation. Which is show the other person interest as we talk, give my full attention, and summarize what they are saying. That will prove that I’m listening to what they have to say.
