Situation 1
In my internship with the NZ Tradings Limited, I had the responsibility to conduct the benchmarking survey for the various restaurants. In order to do that I had to work very closely with each and every department of the organization and unfortunately there were many departments which were not ready to cooperate at all because they thought that I am just an intern and thus they did not took me seriously. For fixing this problem I arranged meeting with Mr. Kuldeep Singh Randhawa and explained him the importance of the benchmarking and told him that the other departments are not responding well to me. NZ Trading is basically for all so by meeting different people I got to know their way of thinking. It was during my internship I got to know the organisation culture of the organization, internship also gave me an opportunity to get hands on knowledge of where I fit best and places where I need to improve. It was a complete different and extraordinary experience because I haven’t worked with any organisation before. Internship also gave me the opportunity to work in administration and customer service and marketing department as well. I personally feel that internship had offered a lot more than just a work experience it offers you the correct path to work and the right skills. My internship gave me an opportunity to meet with very experienced workers and also get to know the ways and means to tackle a problem in a very efficient manner. Internship helped me to know my own capacity and capability and were I need to progress on. Internship is an integral part of every students life in order to know the in and out of the organisation and how to greet and meet the people of corporate.
