As a Computer Engineering student I always wanted to work in the networking industry and wanted to get experienced about the work process, their rules and their environment. It’s a great opportunity for me to do my internship at Link3 Technologies Ltd. the largest ISP of Bangladesh. I am working here as a Support Engineer. Here I’m working with the corporate support team. I monitor, tune and report network performance. My main responsibility is to provide Tier I & Tier II logical support and onsite support. I have to ensure proper technical support to clients according to online ticketing system. Sometimes I work with the installation team. There I used to do ONU configuration and installation, configure wireless router and establish new connection at clients end. I deliver support to our clients through E-mail, phone and live support software. I receive client’s problems through online trouble ticket system, then I get back to clients through phones, assist them to solve their problems themselves. If the problem solved, I closed the ticket with a success comment, if not, then send a support engineer or go by myself and solve the problem.
