One thing I was amazed about was the computer. Something I never heard of or thought of having until I got into Houston. The moment I got a desktop computer, I had to learn how to turn it on and off as well as plugging in the sockets. After, I learned how to use the basic things about a computer, I was introduced into Facebook. Facebook was the first website I learned to get into. It was hard to use it for a couple of days however, by using it more often, I got used to it. The first thing I did was look for friends, then add as much as I could. Usually, when I looked for friends, I specifically looked for those who were born in Tsorona and lived in Texas. After that, I started adding my classmates, random people I met and family members. By doing all of this, my reason was to communicate with them so they can teach me something new about my new home Houston,

For example many didn't know what Enchiladas were and since I'm Latina, it amazed me because where I come from that's a common Mexican cuisine.
