My Holland Code Essay

According to the CNFC website my Holland Code is CSA (Conventional, Social, and Artistic) and my top 3 work values are achievement, relationships, and support. My chosen area of study is psychology and I do think that it is a good fit with my Holland Code. Psychology is the study of the human mind and functions that affect behavior. Possible careers in the field include a psychologist, a social worker, and a counselor. These fall under the the social people group, which was my 2nd best description of my personality. Also a job where I would be able to help others would satisfy my top 3 work values of achievement, good relationships, and support. Therefore, I do think that I am a good fit with this specific career choice.
