I was able to discover the balance of power in different relationships by working with some people with less power than I, while also working with people who had power over me. As I slowly gained more power at my job, I also learned more about healthy boundaries in different relationships. My parents always taught and demonstrated healthy boundaries in our relationships, but I had yet to test boundaries in other aspects of my life, particularly when I was the individual in power. I also learned that some relationships will only progress to a certain stage, and that this is healthy and normal. Some healthy relationships may only progress a few stages, but this is better than pressuring a relationship to the extent that it becomes a toxic relationship. Everyone at work has unique relationships with those around them, and although not all relationships are positive, it is interesting to watch how different relationships shape the group and each person
