My High School Career Research Paper

As a current senior at Norristown Area High School, I feel as though I am prepared to take the next step in furthering my education. Throughout my high school career, I have continuously immersed myself in a variety of different activities while successfully managing my demanding schoolwork from a schedule filled with honors and AP classes. I have been three sport athlete (field hockey, swimming, lacrosse) ever since freshman year; having to find a balance between sports and being able to ensure that I get all of my schoolwork done has been pretty tricky. Along with sports, I have been a member of the National Honor Society and National French Honor Society ever since sophomore year, both of which require community service and other activities. The rigor of my high school career has taught me more than simply the subjects of the classes that I took; it taught me how to manage my time. I discovered the nursing field and immediately knew that I would connect to the career with the passion that my mother had once described to me. Specifically, I aim to become a pediatric nurse so I will be able to help children; I feel as though I connect with children really well and I enjoy being around them. I have worked as a Red Cross certified lifeguard for three years and have experience with giving first aid to children, along with teaching youth swim lessons as a swim instructor.
