Before acquiring a certain raven haired detective, the downtown GCPD was a busy little place, the kind of place that low end criminals sat in tiny cells and await with one another without having to deal with the nuts at Arkham. The weekend meant that cops officially had their hands full, and even if downtown GCPD was obscure and unknown, the swell of low end criminals brought to GCPD was enough to keep it running. The cells were small and old, and other than a decent view of the water, that was pretty much all it had going for it.

A sheet of newspaper fluttered past her as she walked down the sidewalk with her black heels clicking on the dingy pavement below. Her apartment was small yet cozy almost perfect for a single person living alone. Stella had decorated her apartment on her own, and chose a very simple modern style. Placing a single heel onto the pavement, Stella glanced up at the expensive hotel before entering the building. Giving her name to the man behind the front desk, Stella nodded slightly before heading towards the elevator. “Top floor,” she said to the elevator operator. Standing there among Gotham's finest made her feel undressed in her simple plain suit. The black skirt was a little short for her liking, and her silk white shirt was from Penny's. Playing with a lose strand of black hair that escaped her tight bun, Stella watched the elevator empty one by one till the doors finally
