My mother is just a regular house mom and will mostly always stand up for my siblings and I from my dad when we make a huge mistake. She mostly always sacrifices herself to my dad saying “It was me. I did it. I was the one.” The words of protection; the words of sacrificing herself to protect us from the loud noises coming out of my dad because she knows my dad wouldn't hurt her.
