My Hero As A Leader In The Civil Rights Movement

In movies and comics, the heroes always saves people from mutated lizards with their laser eyes and lives in a flashy life. While, in the real world, heroes don't actually have superpowers from falling into toxic waste. Heroes are regular living beings that could have regular jobs like being a cashier. In addition, heroes can be literally anyone/thing around the world, but to be a hero, you must have the heart to not think of the consequences. Furthermore, heroes are people who think of other living organisms and sacrifices anything for others like money, time, or even their life.
For instance, in the mid-20th century when the blacks and whites were separated from going to the same schools or separated to use the same public items, a man named Martin Luther King Jr. stood up and spoke his mind out to let others hear. He was a minister and activist who was a leader in the Civil Rights Movement. According to his speech I Have A Dream, he showed that he wanted kids in the different generation to have a better life in the without any separation because of what

My mother is just a regular house mom and will mostly always stand up for my siblings and I from my dad when we make a huge mistake. She mostly always sacrifices herself to my dad saying “It was me. I did it. I was the one.” The words of protection; the words of sacrificing herself to protect us from the loud noises coming out of my dad because she knows my dad wouldn't hurt her. In the other hand, she always thinks about others. In fact, she makes my dad give money to her mom to pay for the house over at Thailand, she donates clothes to kids that are poor enough to buy anything new, and she donates food to the poor.
